WordPress is a Free open source content management system originally built for blogging. WordPress was released in 2003 by founders Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little. WordPress features a plugin and template based architecture and, over the years, has drawn thousands of developers to create custom plugins, and themes which can now be used to create rich and diverse array and types of websites for almost any application or business need.
